The final pillar of our EAT philosophy is perhaps the most important and the most underused across our industry.
Collecting performance data, collaborating with researchers, listening to the lived experiences of the people in our buildings – none of it completes its purpose until it’s shared.
Transparency, for us, means publishing results even when they’re nuanced. It means talking openly about design decisions – why we made them, what they produced, and what we’d refine. It means treating the knowledge generated through our practice as something that belongs to a wider conversation, not just our portfolio.
The built environment will only shift at the pace that knowledge flows through it. Every practice that shares openly – its data, its methods, its thinking – accelerates that shift for everyone.
Sustainability is genuinely a collective project. We’re glad to play our part.
