Our latest Passive House project located on an asymmetrical site consists of two extruded forms. The client loves the barn aesthetic together with generous verandas for large family gatherings. Situated on the Mornington Peninsula the home provides for zoned multi-generational living. The project has been modelled in DesignpH to ensure that compliance for certification is well within reach.
We always like to check performance early in the concept/schematic development, that way we can ensure that we are not having to drag the performance up with expensive additional requirements down the track. The same is true in terms of our preliminary structural review where we look carefully at the buildability and structural systems to avoid steel.
We are working with our friends at Town Planning Co, so we look forward to a flowing town planning process in the coming months.
